Caminos Flamencos celebrates its 10th anniversary of annual Home Season concerts in San Francisco with an all-star concert featuring past guest artists and some new talents. In a program of selected highlights from past productions such as ENSAYO, Colores, Amor, and El Jardin de mis Suenos, the company dances to the inimitable music of guitarist Jason McGuire "El Rubio," who is joined by the incomparable Chuscales on guitar, and accompanied by the Gypsy voices of Manuel de la Malena and Jose Cortes, as interpreted by the magnificent dancers Melissa Cruz, Mizuho Sato, Fanny Ara and Clara Rodriguez. No storyline, without themes or exploration of concepts, Caminos Flamencos simply lives for "Solo Flamenco," and dances.....and dances to live.

2011 "PUSS IN BOOTS"
The hilarious dance off in Puss and Boots took a lot of talented people to make possible. Watch as Laura Gorenstein Miller (Choreographer), Chris Miller (Director), Olivier Staphylas (Animation Supervisor), Salma Hayek ("Kitty Softpaws") and Antonio Banderas ("Puss in Boots) discuss getting this great scene on its paws!
"Gorenstein Miller, artistic director of Los Angeles' Helios Dance Theatre, worked from the precise storybords to infuse the energy and technique of professional dancers. 'Mizuho Sato was the flamenco reference for Antonio Banderas,' she says of the actor who plays the felonious feline. 'This spitfire, petite Japanese woman. Thechnically, she's impeccable, and her speed, the way she attacks things - I needed that kind of power for Antonio." ----by Michael Ordona, LA Times onDecember 8, 2011
